Our services

End of Life Care
Respect for Dignity in Later.
If the person is in the later stage of his or her life, the individual may need provision of end-of-life care. This could include assistance with feeding, maintaining comfort, and managing pain. At this stage, the focus would be on palliative care, ensuring the person’s dignity, comfort, and emotional needs are prioritised. As required, we would also offer support to family members, guiding them through this difficult time and ensuring the individual is receiving the appropriate care and comfort.

Mobility Support/Physical Assistance
Assist with Mobility: If the person has limited mobility, we would assist with walking or transferring from one position to another (e.g., from bed to a chair, or from a wheelchair to a toilet).
Our strained staff would ensure to support their movements with proper lifting techniques to avoid injury to both staff and the service user.
Encourage Movement: we would encourage gentle physical activity, such as short walks, stretches, or seated exercises, to maintain physical function and prevent immobility-related complications. This also helps to maintain the person’s independence as much as possible.
Provide Supportive Footwear: If the person is at risk of falls, staff would ensure that they are wearing appropriate, well-fitting shoes with non-slip soles to support safe movement

Incontinent Support
Incontinence care can be a sensitive topic, so we always approach it with respect and reassurance. Staff assist with the use of incontinence pads if needed, and ensure that the individual is as comfortable as possible throughout the caring processes.
On the other hand, staff would try to establish a regular toileting routine based on the individual’s needs, offering assistance when necessary, and encouraging independence if possible. For example, if the person is still able to use the toilet independently, staff would encourage them to do so, but ensure they feel safe and supported.

Dementia Care
Even if the person is living with advanced dementia, we encourage them to do as much as possible for themselves. This might include simple tasks like setting the table, brushing their teeth, or helping with household chores. If necessary, we would provide gentle support or prompts, but we always avoid taking over unless absolutely required. Also, we develop a trusting relationship, taking into account the person’s unique needs and personality.

Personal Care
Staff always ensure that the person’s privacy is maintained during personal care. Staff would give the person options when it comes to bathing and with tasks like combing hair, shaving, or cleaning the face, while being gentle and methodical, explaining each during the process. If the person is able, staff would encourage him/her to participate. If the person is resistant to bathing, staff would consider alternative bathing methods, such as bed baths or strip washing.

Feeding Support/ Meal preparation
We support the elderly/adult who need assistance with feeding. Our staff are well trained on how to assist with feeding. Our staff also prepare meals when the need arises.
